One of the best things about WebTV is how convenient it is to travel with. WebTV automatically finds a new access number when you go to a different area.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • WebTV
  • Televisions
  • Internet Access
  1. Step 1

Plug in your WebTV when you get to a new destination.

  2. Step 2

Choose Moved when asked if your WebTV is no longer calling from the original number.

  3. Step 3

Wait while your WebTV automatically finds a toll-free number to dial.

  4. Step 4

Choose Explain if you want to know all the details of what is taking place.

  5. Step 5

Use your WebTV like you normally do after it dials up the new number.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always remember to choose Moved when you change locations. If you forget to choose Moved or hit Same Place by accident it will dial the last connection you used before you unplugged it, and you could end up paying for long distance.
  • Check with your operator to make sure the new number is actually toll-free.
