How to Program a Jensen Universal Remote Control
It takes only a few steps to program a Jensen Universal Remote Control, but you need to know the code of the component you are programming into the remote. You can get the code from the manufacturer of the component, or you can visit Remote Central (see the list of Related Sites).

Manually turn on the component you want to program.

Find the three-digit code numbers for the component brand.

Hold the Device key down until the green indicator light comes on.

Release the Device key. Within 30 seconds, enter in the three-digit code number. The light will flash when the right code has been entered.

Press the Power key. If the component turns off, you have found the right code.

Tips & Warnings
Follow the steps again for other devices. If the component doesn't turn off, redo the steps and use the next three-digit code on the list.

There IS no green light on my Jensen remote! So none of this is working.

what if the codes still dont work? I have a memorex tv, it provides several codes and none will work. I was able to program the vcr with no problem at all... but the tv-- GRRRRR!!!! -

WITH THE SC-570 REMOTE,BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE THE BOOK THIS IS HOW I GOT IT TO WORK. PUSH AND HOLD THE COMPONET BUTTON YOU WANT TO WORK, UNTIL GREEN LIGHT STAYS LIGHT.ENTER ANY 3 DIGIT CODE.REMOTE WILL START AUTO CODE SEARCH.WHEN COMPONENT TURNS OFF,RIGHT AWAY PUSH ACTION BUTTON.
