What makes a woman attractive to a man? Her looks may very well be what initially captures his attention, but it takes more than that to keep him around in the long run. If you're looking for a meaningful relationship the key thing is to be true to yourself and let the man know what type of person you are. Of course, putting on a nice outfit and wearing a nice smelling perfume just to get his attention at first never hurt anybody.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Realize you only have one chance to make a good first impression. Appearances do count.

  2. Step 2

Show him who you are as a person, don't try to be somebody you're not just to get his attention because it's not fair to either of you. Don't be afraid to disagree with him on topics that matter to you. A good man will appreciate a strong headed woman more than somebody that agrees with everything he says.

  3. Step 3

Give him a reason to think about you. Wear a lingering fragrance that haunts his memory, soft clothes that he yearns to touch, a smile that he can't get out of his mind.

  4. Step 4

Appeal to his senses with your sensuous voice, fragrance, clothing and appearance.

  5. Step 5

Flirt with him by sending silent signals of your interest through subtle body language.

  6. Step 6

Make him feel like he's the most important person in the world by focusing your full attention on him. Listen intently to what he has to say, and respond with respect for his opinions.

  7. Step 7

Let him know you're different from all the rest. Emphasize your originality through your appearance, personality, intelligence and behavior. Don't try to pretend that you're anyone other than yourself.

  8. Step 8

Leave a little something to the imagination. Don't bare all or tell all immediately. An air of mystery can be provocative and appealing to a man.

Tips & Warnings
  • Your appearance and body language may catch his attention, but it takes personality and charm to sustain a man's interest.

on 1/24/2009 Generally there some basic things that will attract any guy. As a girl you should always show good appearance, have a smiling face, love humor and make him smile with your jokes, be confidence and speak friendly.

on 12/17/2008 DivineGirl29: I think I have the advice you are looking for: stop being one of the guys, and be one of the girls! Stop asking guys out! If they're interested, let them pursue you. NEVER call your crush. EVER. Don't approach him unless he's been eyeing you from across the room all night. Laugh with your girls. Go out with them. Forget about men, (at least act like it!) and they will flock to you. Be feminine, but don't ever lose you tomboy self.

on 10/11/2008 The only thing I want like most of the women is a girl who can go over her fear and get what she wants. That's it. I know it is complicated for a woman but well that happen and I'm so respectful of women able to do that I cannot refuse her even if it is not a nice looking girl.
So you choose ... Broken heart with nothing really happened or broken heart with some life experience with the guy of your dream. Maybe a life with him if no other more beautiful or intelligent girls can do the step.
