Get 1/2 cup of water and five or more petals from a red rose. Heat the water and petals in a sauce pan until it boils. Remove it from the heat and steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Saturate 1 or 2 cotton balls with the solution, cleaning the debris and mucus from the eyelashes and lids. Saturate another 1 or 2 cottonballs, place a drop or two in the eye, and cover the closed eye with a warm cotton ball (lying on your back) for five minutes. You may repeat as needed (usually 3-5 times a day).
