1
Be concerned if the other parent is not using visitation. Although it may be a relief to you, it is damaging for your child. Children need regular contact with both parents.
-
2
Talk to the other parent and politely and calmly ask if there is a problem with the schedule. There may be problems you can adjust, such as an inconvenient pick-up time.
-
3
Find out if the other parent would be comfortable seeing the child less frequently, on a regular basis. Sometimes noncustodial parents feel overwhelmed at the thought of being a single parent for whole weekends at a time.
-
4
Ask the other parent in a nonconfrontational way why visitation is not being used. There may be a problem that you can fix, like letting the other parent pick up the child without having to come to your door and make direct contact with you.
-
5
Express that you believe visitation is important and you want to support and encourage it.
-
6
Write down the visitation schedule on a calendar and give a copy to the other parent.
-
7
Call the other parent the night before a scheduled visitation to confirm it.
-
8
Tell the other parent that the child misses him or her and is disappointed when visitation doesn't happen. Say this in an honest and straightforward way, but do not get angry or overly emotional.
-
9
Request that the other parent notify you when he or she has to cancel visitation. There is nothing worse than a child waiting at the door for a parent who doesn't come and doesn't call.

What are you suppose to do when the other parent lies as to why they can't visit their child? Example: Tells you that they have no transportation, but yet post pics of them setting in someones vehicle driving down the road on their myspace page? And tells you that they have no money to furnish gas or to even feed the child but yet has pics (on myspace as well) on vacation in San Diego???? Explain that! -

Buying Latex Gloves can be easy. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration requires the use of personal protective equipment such as disposable safety gloves in many workplaces, such as in food preparation, certain manufacturing, and clean rooms. When you buy latex gloves, make sure you know the size you need. Will medium fit your employees? Make sure to check with the distributor about the sizes available. Buying online means you don't have to pay sales tax, of course, and often you can negotiate for discounted or even free shipping.
