Things You'll Need:
- Chalkboards
- Chalkboard Eraser
- Chalks
- Dartboards
- Darts
-
Step 1
Begin the game with each player having 301 points.
-
Step 2
Take turns throwing three darts.
-
Step 3
Add up the points after each set of three, and subtract that number from your total.
-
Step 4
Remove your darts before the other player throws.
-
Step 5
Make a double by earning twice the points when a dart lands in the narrow, outside scoring ring. A dart landing on 9 would earn 18 points in that ring.
-
Step 6
Count the outer ring of the bull's-eye as 25. A bull's-eye is considered a double and earns 50 points.
-
Step 7
Score the winning throw by making a double that reduces your score to exactly zero.
-
Step 8
Don't count the score at all if a player gets more points than she needs to reach zero or if she reaches zero without making a double.

on 11/22/2005 Many games are played double in or double out, meaning you can't score until you hit a double to start. As you count down, try to get your score to an easy double. 32 is double sixteen, if you miss and hit a single 16, then you can shoot for double 8, if you miss and hit a single eight, you can shoot for double 4.
This is crucial. If you go over it negates your turn. If you are at an advantageous score, it is good strategy to go for a 20 with your last dart to return you to that score.
