Things You'll Need:
- Liquid Dish Soap
- Dishtowels
- Fine China
- Kitchen Sponges

Step 1
Follow the manufacturer's instructions about the amount and type of detergent to use in the dishwasher.

Make sure china pieces are not touching in the dishwasher.

Step 3
Set dishwasher on "china" or "light" wash cycle.

Put a towel in the bottom of the sink to avoid contact with the hard surface.

Step 2
Wash china with dish towel or sponge and soapy water.

Step 3
Dry with a dish towel or leave in a dish rack to dry.

on 3/5/2009 I am an Executive Chef and we never put our fine white china in the dishwasher. We do have a problem with grey marks on the china and I only found the one and only way to remove them. The product is called "Chinamate." It removes grey marks from the china without harming the glaze like bleach does.
