Here's a basic power shot that you should have in your arsenal; proper positioning is key.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Racquetball Goggles
  • Racquetball Rackets
  • Racquetballs
  • Water Bottles With Squeeze Caps

Step1
Point both feet at a side wall.
Step2
Keep most of your weight on your back foot.
Step3
Follow the ball's path with your non-hitting hand.
Step4
Hold the racquet behind your body with your elbow bent.
Step5
Begin your swinging motion.
Step6
Straighten your elbow.
Step7
Rotate your hitting shoulder toward the front wall.
Step8
Flex your wrist as you hit the ball.
Step9
Shift your weight to your front foot as you make contact with the ball.
Step10
Follow through on your swing.

Tips & Warnings

  • Hit the ball when it's slightly in front of you to send it to a low point on the wall.
  • Imagine you're throwing a baseball in order to achieve the proper motion.
