How Can I Bridge the Guard in Shantay Pass on "RuneScape"?
Shantay Pass is a narrow ravine connecting the town of Al-Kharid to the Kharidian Desert in Jagex's "RuneScape." To enter the pass, players must either buy a pass from Shantay outside the gates or bribe the man guarding the gates. Because players have to buy a pass from Shantay for five coins every time they go through the gate but need to bribe the guard only once for 200 coins, most players opt for bribing the guard.

Make sure you have at least 200 coins, which is the price to bribe the guard at Shantay Pass. Sell items or defeat enemies to generate money if necessary.

Go to the entrance to Shantay Pass. Find it directly south of Al-Kharid at the north end of the Kharidian Desert. It's a large wooden gate that a tall Kharidian character in gray armor guards.

Approach the guard outside the Shantay Pass gates and click on him. Choose "Bribe-Shantay Guard" from the pop-up menu. A menu will appear asking how you want to pay the guard. Choose the "Pay him 200 coins yourself" option. Your character will bribe the guard, giving you access to the Kharidian Desert beyond the Shantay Pass gates.
