The thought of moving to a new city can be very exciting. You imagine yourself meeting new people, navigating unfamiliar streets and enjoying a completely different kind of life. Moving your entire life is a big decision and there are many factors that go into it. Consider all the angles carefully because reversing your decision can be difficult. Nevertheless, living in a new city may be the best thing for you to do whatever the reason you are moving.

Look at the job classifieds in the newspaper for the city where you want to move. Read newspaper articles about the new city's economy and major employers. Consider if you could easily find employment in the new city. Employment is often a major factor in people's decisions of whether to move.
