How to Enter a Facebook Location on the HTC Evo

Open the Facebook application on your HTC Evo. If your Evo displays your news feed or any other screen besides the main menu, tap the "Back" button to return to the main menu.

Tap the "Places" icon.

Tap the "Check In" button in the upper-right corner of your Evo's screen. Your Evo will identify your location and display a list of nearby places.

Tap the place you want to check into. If the place you want to check into does not appear in the list, type its name in the "Search" field. If your place is still not displayed, tap "Add" to create a new location in Facebook's database of places.
