How to Obtain an IATA License
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) issues licenses to independent and company-employed travel agents, air cargo professionals and aviation managers. From the time you submit a complete application, it takes approximately four to six weeks to receive your professional license. Air transportation professionals who become accredited receive membership benefits including global recognition and access to a network of travel resources.

Receive your assigned IATA Network identification card. The card contains your unique IATA number.
Air Cargo Professional Certification

Stanford -- IATA Aviation Management Professional Certification

Submit an application to be considered for the aviation management professional certification program.

Enroll in a one-year program of online courses. Courses include air transport fundamentals, airport operations and revenue management and leadership skills.

Pay a tuition fee for each course as you progress through the program.

Pass an online exam at the end of each course with a minimum score of 85 percent.
