This allows the rifle to look accurate, but also lightweight.

Draw an outline of the assault rifle using a pencil. Use high-quality pictures of the "Halo" assault rifle to make your outline as close to the rifle as possible.

Cut the outline out with a utility knife. Go slow to stay inside the outline's lines.

Glue any pieces together using super glue.

Paint the rifle once the rifle is dry. Use acrylic gun metal paint on all parts of the rifle. Let the rifle sit for a few hours to dry. If some of the cardboard's natural colors come through the paint, add a second coat.
