How Can I Change the Resolution on Yellow Dog Linux?

Yellow Dog Linux is a special version of Linux developed entirely for usage with the Sony PlayStation 3. When you first install Yellow Dog Linux on your PS3, you set the screen resolution during setup. Yellow Dog Linux has four screen resolutions available: 1080p, 1080i, 720p and 480i. Each of these resolutions reflects the capabilities of your TV. If you have a high-definition TV, a sticker or note in the manual will confirm the HD type.

Press "Ctrl"+"Alt"+"F1" to open the command line in YGL. (Be sure to press all three commands simultaneously.)
