How to Adjust Time on an Armitron WR165

The Armitron WR165 is a digital sports watch with four buttons on the edge of the face. These four buttons control all the functions of the watch, including setting the time and date. The watch can display both 12-hour and 24-hour time formats. In 12-hour format, it shows the difference between a.m. and p.m. by displaying a p.m. indicator during the latter half of the day.

Press the button on the top-left corner of the watch and the seconds will begin to flash.

Press the button on the top right to change the minutes.

Press the button on the bottom left to switch to the hours setting. Press the top-right button to change the hours.

Press the button on the bottom left to switch to minutes. Press the button on the top right to advance the minute settings.

Press the button on the bottom left to change to the month setting. The button on the top right changes the month.

Press the button on the bottom left to switch to the date setting. Press the button on the top right to change the date.

Press the button on the bottom left to switch to the day setting. Press the button on the top right to cycle through days of the week.

Press the button on the top left to exit the date and time settings.

Tips

You can hold down the button on the top right to advance the settings faster than pressing the button repeatedly.

Warnings

Watch for a "p.m." indicator when setting the hours while the watch is in 12-hour format. Otherwise, you may set it for a morning hour instead of afternoon.
