How to Move the Vertical Scrollbar in Thunderbird Email
Mozilla's Thunderbird is a free email program that you can sync with your other online email accounts, such as Yahoo!, Gmail and Hotmail. Once you've synced, you'll be able to open and reply to messages from your other email accounts, all from within Thunderbird. If you have a great many messages, you'll need to use the vertical scrollbar in Thunderbird to find the messages you want to read and to reply to.

Launch Thunderbird, and go to your main email folder.

Click on the marker in the vertical scrollbar on the right-hand side of Thunderbird. Unlike Firefox, you can't move this scrollbar to a different position within your email, so it will always be here.

Drag the marker up or down to look at different messages.
