How to Clear Messenger's History Account
Windows Live Messenger keeps a history of all your instant message conversations if you have enabled it in the Options menu. It stores the log on your computer, rather than online, so you can open and reference previous conversations on your PC while offline. To clear your messenger history, you need to locate the files on your hard drive and manually delete them. You can disable history at the same time to prevent further storage of chats.
