How to Check Your Saved IMs on AIM
AIM, or AOL Instant Messenger, is a free instant messaging program that allows you to communicate with friends via text, video and voice. All text conversations automatically save as IM logs. IM logs preserve any formatting, smileys or photos used in the conversation. AIM categorizes IM logs by contact type and date as well, allowing you to quickly access a specific conversation.

Click the arrow next to "Contacts" and/or "Buddies" to see everyone on your AIM account.

Right-click the screen name for the person with whom you messaged, whose saved IMs you want to view.

Click "Show IM Log." A window containing all previous conversations will open, displaying each conversation by date. Double-click the date to view the entire conversation for that day.
