How to Use the Medium Armour in "Lord of the Rings Online"
Armour in "Lord of the Rings Online" provides characters with defense against physical attacks. Magic armour comes with attribute bonuses, which provide a way for you to increase you character's power outside of leveling up. The type of armour characters can wear depends on the character's class and level. The warden, burglar, hunter and minstrel classes primarily wear medium armour throughout the entire game. The captain, guardian and champion classes start off wearing medium armour; however, those classes eventually gain the ability to use heavy armour and should use that once it becomes available.

Gaining Medium Armour Proficiency

Reach the appropriate level for your class to gain medium armour proficiency with your character. The captain, guardian and champion start with proficiency at level 1 and should use medium armour until they get heavy armour proficiency. Hunters and burglars get access to medium armour proficiency at level 10, minstrels get it at level 15. The warden starts the game with medium armour proficiency.

Go to your class trainer. Class trainers are located in most major cities.

Right-click your class trainer to talk to him and open a new window with a list of trainable skills.

Select "medium armour," then click "buy" to purchase the skill from your trainer. Your class trainer will give you a quest you have to complete if you are playing a minstrel. Your class trainer will give you a skill called "medium armour use" once you complete the quest, which lets you equip medium armour.

Press "I" to open all your bags.

Press the "C" key to open your equipment menu.

Click and drag the medium armour you want to equip to the corresponding body slot. For example, you would drag a pair of boots to the "feet" slot in your equipment menu if you want to equip a pair of boots.
