How to Enable Privacy in Spokeo
There are numerous sites on the Internet that gather and store your personal information. This information comes from a variety of sources including public records, social media sites, such as Facebook and other online services. Spokeo is a service that scours the Internet looking for publicly available information. The information gathered is stored in a database that anyone can access from the Spokeo page. If you don't want your personal information to be available, you must request that Spokeo remove the public listing. Since Spokeo takes its information from other websites, you'll also need to either delete the data from these sites, or change their privacy settings so Spokeo no longer has access.
