Leveling makes getting to new levels possible.

Getting from level 11 to level 30 on "World of Warcraft" should only take a few hours if you are diligent and not wasting time in the game. If you are leveling your first character, the hardest part of leveling is learning your way around. Once you understand your way around, you can spend the time leveling to learn the best way to play your character and improve your armor and weapons.

Instructions

    • 1

Walk or get a ride to one of the zones meant for characters your level. Alliance characters should start in Bloodmyst Isle, Darkshore, Westfall or Loch Modan. Horde characters should start in Ghostlands, Silverpine Forest or Northern Barrons.

    • 2

Pick up quests from nonplayer characters marked with a yellow question mark over their heads. Complete each quest given and turn it in to the character with a yellow question mark over his head. These quests will send you to new areas as your level increases.

    • 3

Use the dungeon finder located at the bottom of your screen once you reach level 15. The dungeon finder looks like a green eye and will allow you to get in line for a dungeon and automatically transport you there and back once it is your turn.

    • 4

Complete any quest given during your time in the dungeon. These quests typically offer a large amount of experience.

    • 5

Choose a gathering profession as soon as you can. Each time you pick a flower, mine a node or skin an animal you will gain experience.

Tips & Warnings

  • Constantly check the drops of the monsters you kill for better gear. As you level, your gear becomes obsolete quickly.

  • Use the random battleground finder once you hit level 10 to earn extra experience if you enjoy fighting other players instead of just the nonplayer characters. The battleground finder is also located at the bottom of your screen.

  • Paying someone to quickly level you is a violation of your user agreement and a waste of money.
