How to Delete Steam
Steam is an online game distribution platform created by Valve and used to host hundreds of games so users don't have to deal with physical media such as DVDs. If you want to remove Steam from your computer, you can do so with the Windows Add or Remove Programs application. This will remove all the games that you have installed through Steam, and could cause you to lose any saves in games that you have created.

Sign out of Steam and close the program.

Open the Start menu, click Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs and then click "Steam."
