How to Decorate a Classroom With a Construction Theme
Themed classrooms help to improve children's school experience. Themes help to excite children about their learning environment and encourage them to explore the theme's meaning in relation to educational purposes. One popular theme amongst teachers is the construction theme, as children are often fascinated by large machinery and the idea of building or creating. By properly incorporating the construction theme into your classroom, you will help to create a positive and exciting learning environment for your students.

1
Locate a local educational supply store or find one online. Visit the store and look over decorations that relate to construction. Specifically, look for things with hard hats, hammers, measuring tapes, dump trucks and other related materials. Purchase decorations that can be placed on your classroom walls, windows and bulletin boards. You will also need double-sided tape or some type of adhesive material to use when hanging your decorations.

2
Remove your purchased construction-themed decorations from their packaging, then lay the decorations out on the floor or a table. Select locations around your classroom to display these materials. Hang the material low enough so the students can see the decorations from their desks, but high enough so they will not be able to reach it. Use your double-sided tape of adhesive to secure the items to the wall.
