Caramel sauce is an easy to prepare, rich dessert that can be cut into squares and eaten alone or drizzled over ice cream or any of your other favorite desserts. Although preparation is quick and requires few ingredients, it is possible to end up with a sauce that is too runny. If your caramel sauce gets too thin, don't panic.   • Sugar
  • Whisk
  • 1 tsp. corn flour
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

      Keep the sauce on the stove and slowly add sugar. Stir with a whisk until the caramel has reached a good consistency. Remember that it will thicken up when it has cooled.

      Mix 1 tsp. of corn flour with 1/4 cup of water and slowly stir this into your caramel sauce while it is boiling. Stir and add more if necessary.

      Put the sauce into a container and put it in the refrigerator. As the sugar cools, the sauce will thicken quite a bit.
