The "MineCraft" Cartograph is a third-party software that maps out "MineCraft" worlds and allows users to view their worlds as a whole rather than from the first-person point of view. Using the Cartograph is simple and requires only a quick download followed by choosing several preferences.

      Download the "MineCraft" Cartograph from the link provided at the "MineCraft" Forum website. The program requires users to have the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable package (x86). A link to this download is available at the Microsoft download site.

      Unzip the Cartograph file into a directory of your choosing. Find the program icon in the directory after unzipping and double-click it.

      Select a world number in the left column of the presented dialog box. This will determine which of your "MineCraft" worlds will be mapped out with the Cartograph.

      Pick a viewing angle for the Cartograph in the middle column. Birds-eye, profile, normal and cave views are available for users. These views can be changed whenever you open the Cartograph.

      Adjust other conditions of the Cartograph in the third column of the dialog box. Other conditions include whether you have a day or night view of the world and the amount of detail in the map.

      Click "Render" to generate your customized Cartograph.
