How to Fix Foggy Dishes From the Dishwasher
Dishes often come out of the dishwasher with a foggy residue. The fogginess is a result of hard water residue and/or excess dish detergent that settled onto your dishes. Keeping the dishes looking their best requires the addition of another cleaning element that will break up the foggy residue. Place your dishes into the dishwasher and add your regular portion of dishwasher detergent.

Pour 1 cup white vinegar into the base of your dishwasher. This works as an added cleaning element that dissolves soap scum and hard water residue.

Run your regular dishwasher cycle.

Remove the dishes from your dishwasher and dry the dishes with a towel. This removes any excess water that could settle back onto the dishes as the foggy buildup.
