How to Read Recorded Skype Conversations

Skype, an Internet calling program, isn't just for making voice calls. It can also be a useful way to keep in touch with friends and family through text-based chatting. When you chat with someone on Skype, the program records a history of your text-based chat. If you need to review comments someone made to you via chat or find an important piece of information contained within a chat, you can read recorded Skype conversations by accessing the chat history for a particular contact.

Instructions

1. Launch Skype.

2. Click on the name of a contact for whom you wish to view the chat history.

3. Click "Contacts" at the top of the screen.

4. Click "View Chat History" to read recorded Skype conversations with that contact. Repeat the process for any other contacts for whom you wish to view the chat history.
