How to Convert a Low Pixel Image to High Pixel
You can convert a low-pixel or low-resolution image to a high-pixel or high-resolution image using Microsoft Paint, which is included with Windows. In some cases, drastically changing the size of an image may cause the image to look pixelated, so it is always best to use a larger image file when possible. Microsoft Paint can adjust the size of your image using a percentage, or you can manually adjust the pixel size.

1
Click the Start button and choose "All Programs," "Accessories" and "Paint" to open the program.
-
2
Click the "Paint" button in the top left corner of the screen and choose "Open." Then navigate to the location of your image and double-click it to open it.
-
-
3
Click the "Home" tab at the top of the screen and choose "Resize" in the "Image" section of the toolbar. This will open the "Resize and Skew" dialog box.
-
4
Click "Percentage" and change the value if you would like to enlarge the image by a certain percentage. For example, "200%" will make the image twice its original size.
-
5
Click the arrows to adjust the horizontal or vertical aspect ratio if you would like to adjust the image to a specific pixel size. Uncheck "Maintain aspect ratio" if you would like to adjust the horizontal and vertical pixel size separately, though this will cause your image to be distorted.
-
6
Click "OK" to save your changes and resize the image.
-
7
Click the "Paint" button and choose "Save as," then choose a file name and location for your file and click "Save." Choosing a new name and location ensures that your original file is not overwritten.
