How to Fix Dresser Pulls
Dresser pulls are usually solid knobs or solid pull handles. They secure to the front of the drawer with a screw or two depending upon the type of pull. Over time the dresser pull becomes loose due to wear. When the pull becomes loose it is necessary to make adjustments to retighten the pull to the drawer. Fixing dresser pulls can be a simple process or might require replacing the pull depending upon the condition of the screw that holds it in place. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

-
1
Open the dresser drawer and remove the contents from the drawer.
-
2
Hold the front of the drawer pull with one hand, and tighten the screw on the inside of the drawer with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Most often this will fix the dresser pull.
-
-
3
Remove the screw with the screwdriver, if it does not tighten the drawer pull. Inspect the screw threads on the screw. The screw is a fine thread and often the threads wear down just enough not to engage the threads inside the pull.
-
4
Wrap the screws threads with sewing thread. Start at the bottom of the screw and wind the sewing thread in between the screw threads. Reinstall the drawer pull with the screw.
-
5
Replace the drawer pull if the pull will still not tighten. For best results, replace all the drawer pulls on the dresser so they match.

Tips & Warnings
Replacement dresser pulls are available at home improvement centers. If you have pulls with two mounting points, take one with you to match the new pulls against the old pull. This helps prevent having to drill new holes in the drawer.
