How to Make Text Smaller in Blogger

Make text smaller within a Blogger blog so that longer entries occupy less of a user's screen. Reduce the size of text within an individual entry to make a one-time change. Alternatively, edit the blogger template settings to make a permanent change to the display size of text within the blog. Neither of these options requires any knowledge of HTML or other Web coding.

Instructions

    • 1

Sign into your Blogger account and choose the name of the blog whose text you want to make smaller. Choose "Edit Posts," and scroll through the list of entries and click the name of the one whose text you want to resize.

    • 2

Drag your mouse over the text you want to make smaller to highlight it. Open the "Size" drop-down menu, denoted by a "Tt" icon, and choose "Small" or "Smallest." Save the entry.

    • 3

Choose the "Design" tab, select "Template Design" and choose the "Advanced" option. Choose "Text Font" and select a pixel number to make the font smaller -- 12 is an example of a small font. Click "Apply to Blog."
