How to Take a Snapshot on a Mac
Just like Windows offers the ability to take snapshots of your desktop called screenshots, the Mac OS X operating system offers this same ability, though it uses a different key combination to do so. Whether you want to capture the state of a software program that's open or just take a picture of a memorable event that occurred on screen, pressing the key combination will allow you to do so.
