How to Pervent Redirects in Firefox

Prevent Mozilla Firefox from automatically redirecting you to another site to avoid encountering potentially harmful or malicious Web pages. Webmasters sometimes embed code within their sites that automatically sends you to a second Web page shortly after you arrive -- for example, an animation plays on a site's "landing" page before taking you to the homepage. In other instances, however, the redirect sends you to a site full of viruses and spyware, so disable all redirects to protect yourself online while using Firefox.
