Things You'll Need

  • 1 stick of softened butter
  • Butter knife
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • Long-handled wooden spoon

      Remove any paper wrappers on the butter. Cut one stick of softened butter into 1-inch-wide slices.

      Drop three or four butter slices into the blender. Sprinkle in 1 tbsp. of the sugar. Place the lid on the blender and blend the two for 20 seconds.

      Add three more slices of butter and 1 tbsp. of butter to the blender. Blend for 20 seconds. Use a long-handled wooden spoon to mix up food at the bottom of the blender. Continue adding butter and sugar until the mix is well blended.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add 1 tsp. of vanilla extract to give the mix a little moisture.

  • Don't melt butter in the microwave to soften. This type of cooking may break down the butter, leaving it oily and runny.
