How to Care for Clothes Made out of Acetate & Wool
Wool and acetate are two fibers that are used to produce fabric. Wool is spun and then woven from the fur of a sheep, while acetate is a synthetic fiber that is produced from cellulose. These fibers are often combined in garments. Both wool and acetate are somewhat delicate fibers, and caring for a wool-acetate blend correctly allows you to preserve the outfits for a longer use life. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Dry clean a garment woven of wool and acetate fibers. Dry cleaning provides your clothes with a gentle cleaning that will not break the fibers.
-
2
Spot clean your wool-acetate clothing by dampening a soft clean cloth with water and gently scraping away the stain. Avoid using stain removers, especially ones that contain acetone, as this will harm the acetate fibers.

3
Store the garments in a ceder closet or in a garment bag with a few mothballs at the bottom. The wool fibers attract moths, which then eat holes in the garments.
-
4
Brush garments made with wool and acetate with a clothing brush before wearing them. This gives the garment a professionally crisp look while removing bits of lint or dust.
