How Do I Know If My Second Life Account Is Age-Verified?
Second Life is an online virtual world that allows you to create your own avatar, purchase virtual land and build in-world objects you can use or sell to other residents. Every area in Second Life has a rating based on acceptable content. Areas rated "Adult" can only be accessed by residents who have verified their age as 18 years or older. You can check your age verification settings by logging into your account on the Second Life website.

Launch your Internet browser and navigate to the Second Life website.

Click the "Login" link and log into the website using your Second Life user name. This will take you to your account dashboard.

Click "Account" from the left menu, then click "Age Verification." This will display your date of birth if you have verified your age on your Second Life account. If you have not verified your age, you can do this now on this page.

Enter your birth date information from the drop-down menus, then place a mark in the check box below the menus, confirming the information is accurate. Click the "Submit" button to verify your age.
