How to Crochet an Ear Warmer With Ties
An ear warmer is a practical way to keep your ears warm and your hair out of your face. You can make one yourself, using basic crochet skills. Double crochet in every stitchexcept the first two. You should have 11 double crochet stitches.

Chain two, and skip the first, double crochet in all of the following stitches. You should have another layer of 11 stitches. Repeat this until your ear warmer is long enough to wrap mostly around your head, leaving a gap.

Cut 4 lengths of yarn, approximately 18 inches long. Tie each length to a corner of the ear warmer. These are the ties that hold the ear warmer in place.
