How to Remove Old Dripped Wall Paint
If you have recently moved into a house with paint that has dripped and dried on the wall, then you may be wondering how you can remove the paint dripping. You can completely remove the paint from the wall and the best method is by scraping it away using a heat paint gun, which you can purchase from a home construction supply store. Spread the tarp across the floor.

Turn the heat paint gun on and wave it about 2 inches from the surface of the paint drip.

Scrape the paint upward and off the wall using a putty knife, when the paint begins to blister. Prime and re-paint the wall after you have removed the paint and re-sanded the wall.

Tips & Warnings
Wear long-sleeved clothing, safety goggles and a respirator for heat gun.
Have a fire extinguisher nearby and prep yourself on how to use it in case of a fire.
Cease using the gun if it begins to smoke.
