How to Delete Emails Related to Facebook

Facebook sends you email notifications for almost every account activity that may occur, including comments on wall posts, messages from friends and tags in images. If you are receiving too many messages from Facebook or you just want to stop the emails completely, configure your message settings to restrict or eliminate the emails you receive.

Instructions

1. Load your Facebook profile and log into your account.

2. Click "Account" in the upper right of the screen. Choose the Account Settings option.

3. Click "Notifications" in the top menu bar. Clear the check marks in the boxes for any email notifications you no longer want to receive from Facebook under the column with the envelope above it.

4. Click "Save Changes" to update your notification settings.

Tips & Warnings

• Even if you eliminate every email alert from the Notifications section, Facebook may still contact you with administrative requests or problems with your account.
