How to Rivet Crocs
Originally designed for boaters, the Crocs brand of shoes has since grown into a worldwide fashion trend with more than 120 styles to choose from and more than 100 million sold as of 2011. The Boulder, Colo.-based company uses a lightweight, non-marking and odor-resistant technology called Croslite to manufacture its shoes. Crocs are also held together by rivets. These rivets sometimes break, and since the shoes are relatively inexpensive, they often get tossed out when this happens. But there's no need to waste your money buying a replacement pair. If the rivets in your Crocs break, fix them yourself using replacement rivets. Does this Spark an idea?
