Instructions

    • 1

Clean the pliers and slim metal cutters with the sterilizing solution. Use disinfectant to clean around the piercing if necessary. Try turning the piercing and squeezing out as much puss as possible if it is infected. Apply ice or a numbing spray to the area.

    • 2

Ask a friend wearing gloves to carefully grip the piercing ball with the pliers and position the cutters around the anchor. Tell him to avoid tugging or jerking on the piercing, since this will aggravate the area, even if the numbness prevents you from feeling it.

    • 3

Position the cutter so that the ends point away from the body then as quickly as possible and with as little movement as possible, squeeze until the anchor just below the bead is cut.

    • 4

Remove the bead and anchor (if possible) and use the paper towels and disinfectant to clean pus from the area.

    • 5

Dispose of the bead and anchor. After removal the bead is unusable and the anchor broken.

Tips & Warnings
