Bookmark a favorite Web page in Google Chrome.

While you navigate the World Wide Web, you're likely to come across sites to which you want to return. You might need to refer to a particular Web page frequently for work or school or perhaps you've come across an article or blog you want to read at a later time. In the Google Chrome browser, like other browsers, you can bookmark a Web page. The page is then saved in Chrome, making it easy for you to go back.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the star icon in the Google Chrome browser while you're viewing the page you want to bookmark. The star icon is located in the far right area of the URL field in the browser.

    • 2

Type a name for the bookmark in the Name field in the pop-up. Click "Folder" to select a location to save your bookmark.

    • 3

      Click "Close."

Tips & Warnings

  • You can access the Bookmark Manager to organize your bookmarks. Click the wrench icon and click "Bookmark Manager" from the Tools menu. From the Manager, you can add and remove folders as well as move your bookmarks to different folders.
