How to Cut Bananas for a Fruit Display
Bananas make an attractive addition to any fruit display. Cut into bite-sized pieces, banana slices are a healthy and popular finger food that complement a breakfast, lunch or party fruit tray. Banana slices can also be used on a fruit tray with chocolate fondue. Cut the bananas after all the other fruit you're using, because the bananas will brown quickly. For tropical displays, sprinkle lime juice over the bananas to preserve freshness. Otherwise, use lemon juice. Does this Spark an idea?

Combine the banana slices with 2 tbsp. lemon juice in a bowl. Toss until bananas are lightly coated. Add more lemon juice as needed, but do not soak. Lemon juice prevents the bananas from turning brown after they are peeled.
