How to Make a Bible Verse Tree
A Bible verse tree is an inspirational gift for any Christian in your life. Whether it's a present for a person going through a personal crisis who needs extra encouragement or a child who's struggling to learn and memorize Bible verses, the Bible verse tree is a fun, three-dimensional aid that puts written verses at the recipient's fingertips. This relatively inexpensive gift is one that you can give to friends, relatives or associates who possess a love for the Bible.

1
Scour your yard or a local park for a 12- to 14-inch tree branch with several twigs jutting off in all directions. Alternatively, purchase one from a craft store.
-
2
Form your clay into a lump and place it into the bottom of the flower pot. Stick your tree branch firmly into the middle of the clay and position it so it is as straight as possible vertically. Cover the clay completely with artificial grass.

Choose 25 to 35 appropriate Bible verses. Choose a label format on your computer's word processing program, and type the verses into it. A width of 2 or 3 inches and a height of 1/4 to 1/2 inch will give you the appropriate-size strips. Use scissors to cut each Bible verse apart so each one is on a separate strip. In the absence of computer access, simply hand-write your verses legibly.
-
4
Punch a hole in the left-hand side of each Bible verse strip. Thread a 3-inch length of ribbon through the hole of each verse and tie it in a knot.
-
5
Hang your completed Bible verses off of the various branches of the tree.
