Hair Bow Instructions for Flower Girls for a Wedding
Some flower girls don't mind wearing a lot of bobby pins to keep hair accessories -- such as flowers -- in place. Others loathe the idea and squirm when you touch their hair. Since you want her smiling and looking adorable, consider giving her a pretty hair bow to wear, so you don't have to fuss with bobby pins. Using ribbon that echoes your color scheme, your flower girl will feel like a little princess, as she walks down the aisle.

1
Cut satin ribbon that matches your wedding colors, so it measures 24 inches.
-
2
Fold the ribbon in half to make a crease, wrong side facing up. The crease marks the center of the bow.
-
-
3
Bring one end of the ribbon down and towards the right side, then towards the center of the bow, so it forms a triangle. Hot glue the end to the center.
-
4
Bring the other end of the ribbon down to the center in the same way as before, making another triangle. Hot glue the end to the center. The ribbon should look like two joined triangles when you look down.
-
5
Place a finger on the ends of the triangles -- at the center of the bow -- to hold it down. Bring the center of the top of one triangle to the center of the bow. Hot glue it in place.
-
6
Bring the center of the top of the opposite triangle to the center of the bow. Hot glue it in place.
-
7
Tie a satin ribbon around the center. Wrap the satin ribbon around the bow. Let the hot glue dry. Hot glue rhinestones to the satin ribbon center to enhance the bow.
-
8
Glue the bow to a metal barrette. Press the bow down to the barrette to secure the bow.
