How to Look for Who Blocked You on MSN

MSN Messenger, now Windows Live, offers a variety of security features. This includes the ability to choose who sees when you are online. In order to chat with another on Windows Live, you must ask for permission to add them to your contact list. When the person deletes you off their list, or blocks you, you will no longer see them on your friends list. If you think you've been deleted, you can only test this theory by comparing with another Windows Live account.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit Window Live's website and sign up for a new account. Log into Windows Live using your new user name and password.

    • 2

Click on "Contacts" and "Add Contact." Type the name of the person who you suspect has blocked your email address in the designated field. Wait for the friend to accept your contact request.

    • 3

Watch for the person to come online. When you see the person online, log off of your new account into your old one. If they do not appear on your friend's list this means you have been blocked.
