How to Replace the Belt on a Euro Pro 605D Sewing Machine
The belt of a modern sewing machine is found inside the body case. This belt, like any machinery belt, will wear and break with use and time. The Euro Pro 605D sewing machine has a belt inside that connects the wheel to the needle shaft. If the belt breaks, the machine cannot run because the needle will not be able to move up and down through the cloth. Maintenance of the belt is an essential process in keeping a sewing machine running.

Tips & Warnings
The belt number for a new belt is found in the service manual and on the broken belt.
A universal belt can be used, however, it is best to use the specific size and type for your machine.
Do not work on the machine if you do not feel confident in your ability to do so. Sewing machines have delicate parts that are essential to the entire process of sewing; breaking or bending one part can cause the entire machine to not work.
