Dye your hair very bright red. Mystique's hair is very red, so use the brightest hair dye you can find. Mystique's hair is one of the most memorable details about the transforming mutant. Find the brightest red hair dye you can.

Wear a black leather tank top. Substitute the leather with pleather of black vinyl if you cannot afford a leather tank top. Mystique wears tight clothing that has a shine to it, so either will certainly work.

Wear a pair of black leather pants. Use black vinyl or pleather as a cheap alternative if needed. As with the tank top, Mystique wears tight, black and shiny pants.

Place long black leather boots on your feet to match the rest of Mystique's attire. Black pleather of vinyl will also work instead of leather.

Add small, body makeup patches to the skin if you desire. The movie versions of Mystique have these kind of patches on her body while the comic book versions of her do not.

Apply a bright blue body paint to all open skin, including the makeup patches if you are using them. Since you are wearing a tank top, you will need someone to apply paint to your back since you have a lot of showing skin back there.
