How to Fix a Knit Sweater Snag
It's aggravating to get a snag in your good sweater, but don't throw that sweater away because it's easy to fix. After you fix it, nobody can tell that your sweater had a snag. Does this Spark an idea?

Slip the crochet hook from the underside of the sweater to where the snag is in front, and hook the snag and pull it through to the underside. You now have a loop of yarn. Make a knot in the yarn. If the loop is long enough, make two knots. Don't cut the loop. Your snag is now repaired.

Fix a snag on a sweater that has a tight knit. Sometimes the knit of the sweater is so tight and the thread is so thin that sticking a crochet hook from one side to the other might leave an unwanted hole. Try feeding the thread from the front to the back with your fingers or pushing it through carefully with a blunt end needle. Make a knot or two as above. This technique also works well.

Dab the knot with a little nail polish and blow it dry.

Tips & Warnings
Avoid wearing large rings and other jewelry when you are wearing a fine knit sweater.
Be careful not to get the nail polish on your sweater.
