How to Flatten Out a Curved Bill

Strengthen your style and flatten out a ball cap.

The age old question of which is more fashionable, wearing a cap with a flat bill or a curved bill, is frequently debated by trend-setters. The constantly changing trend means that fashionistas can find themselves bending the bills one week and trying to flatten them out the next. If you have a cap that has a curved bill but would like to flatten it out to keep in style, the solution is simpler than you might think.

Instructions

1. Plug in the iron and set it to steam. Allow the iron to heat up while fill up a spray bottle with water.

2. Spray water onto the curved bill until the bill is saturated.

3. Place the cap onto the ironing board so that the bottom of the bill is flush with the board's surface. Move the iron back and forth across the bill, pressing it down into the ironing board. Constantly move the iron to prevent the bill from burning.

4. Continue to iron the bill until it flattens out.

5. Set the cap on a clean surface to allow it to dry.
