How to Start as Mudkip in "Pokemon Blue Rescue Team"
Mudkip is one of the 16 playable Pokemon you can begin with in the Nintendo DS title "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team." The Pokemon you start with depends on the answers you select in a light-hearted personality quiz. Mudkip is a small Water-type Pokemon that is strong enough to lift boulders. This Mud Fish Pokemon evolves into Marshtomp at level 16 and it evolves a final time into the mighty Swampert once it reaches level 36. When you give the game the answers that make you sound like a Mudkip, you will be rewarded with the ability to play as one for the entire game.

Start a new game of "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team" and choose your gender.

Choose "Timid" answers during the quiz if you decided to play as a female Pokemon. For example, if playing as a female and faced with the question "There is an alien invasion! What will you do?" you should select the "Run" option so that you gain timid points.

Select "Calm" replies for your personality quiz if you chose a male character. For example, select "Turn it off" when asked "What do you do with your room's light when you go to bed?"

Restart the personality quiz if there were not enough questions presented that offered calm or timid answer options and you were unable to receive a Mudkip. If you select enough calm or timid replies, your character will be a Mudkip. If there are no calm or timid replies available for a question, choose any of the docile, brave, quirky, impish, hasty, jolly, sassy, hardy or naïve options.
